Four years ago, I quit my job and started traveling - first backpacking around Europe, then teaching English in Vietnam, China, and most recently, Japan. The name for this blog arises from the fact that I've somehow managed to maintain a serious knitting obsession despite living out of a suitcase. Knitting and traveling make me happy in equal measure, although more often than not I'm doing more of one than the other.
When I'm not knitting, I like to read, take photos, making jewelry, sew, cook, garden (when I have one!) and, unsurprisingly, waste time on the internet: I blog about my regular life here, and post big photos here. You can find me as Chikka on Ravelry :-)
